Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team at VetProCentral. Our practice is a 2 location, AAHA accredited, family owned small animal hospital. We provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support their owners with compassion and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical examinations on various animals including dogs, cats, and other small pets
  • Diagnose illnesses and recommend appropriate treatment plans
  • Conduct surgeries and dental procedures as needed
  • Administer vaccinations and medications
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • State veterinary license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and laboratory procedures
  • Active DEA license
  • Experience in animal catheterization, handling, husbandry, and kennel management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
