We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team at VetProCentral. Our practice is a 2 location, AAHA accredited, family owned small animal hospital. We provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support their owners with compassion and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical examinations on various animals including dogs, cats, and other small pets
- Diagnose illnesses and recommend appropriate treatment plans
- Conduct surgeries and dental procedures as needed
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- State veterinary license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and laboratory procedures
- Active DEA license
- Experience in animal catheterization, handling, husbandry, and kennel management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
