Veterinary ER Coordinator

The ER Coordinator role at Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is a vital position that requires strong communication and organizational skills. As a key member of our Emergency and Critical Care Department, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the department, ensuring seamless communication with clients, and providing support to our emergency and critical care doctors.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between the Emergency and Critical Care Departments and clients
- Provide communication to clients to keep them informed and support emergency and critical care doctors
- Monitor ER flow and communicate with clients about wait times
- Facilitate patient visits and prepare for emergency and critical care patients for discharge
- Review discharge instructions with clients and ensure accurate invoicing
- Experience in the veterinary field for two or more years
- Ability to follow OSHA standards and hospital policies
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion
