Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Courtyard Aurora in Aurora, CO. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, register guests into the computer, and provide accurate and timely information and services.
  • Reservations and Check-in/Check-out: Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns. Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Cash Handling and Security: Accept payment for guests' accounts, maintain a house bank, and make deposits and accurate reports of receipts daily. Properly handle and account for keys.
  • Problem Resolution: Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Answer telephone promptly and properly, being polite, courteous, and friendly. Communicate effectively with guests, supervisors, and other departments.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, basic computational ability, and basic computer skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length, lift up to 15 lbs occasionally, and perform other physical demands of the job.
