Position Overview
This role is integral to the project engineering team, reporting directly to the Regional Project Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will engage in project execution, provide technical support, and ensure comprehensive documentation and reporting. Collaboration across various departments such as operations, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Deliver technical expertise and support to project teams, encompassing engineering design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Draft and review project documentation, including specifications, drawings, reports, and progress updates.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective project implementation and communication.
- Identify potential project risks, devise mitigation strategies, and monitor project performance against set objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry norms, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in engineering within a manufacturing context or a related field.
- Familiarity with extrusion and plastic molding machinery is advantageous.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and committed to professional growth.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating strong self-motivation.
- Exceptional skills in customer relationship management.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in managing both internal and external teams.
- Aptitude for learning in a dynamic and technological environment.
- Effective communicator with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
- Proficient in software applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- General understanding of mechanical principles, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
