Director of Radiation Oncology Services

At Rutgers The State University, we are seeking an exceptional radiation oncologist to serve as the Director of Radiation Oncology Services. This is a leadership position that requires a distinguished record of original clinical research, exceptional clinical and educational skills, and a commitment to our institution's mission.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape a robust academic department with a proven reputation for providing high-quality patient-centered care, research programs, and education. They will oversee all operational and programmatic aspects within the discipline of radiation oncology, including clinical radiation oncology, radiation physics, and radiation cancer biology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of short- and long-range planning, funding, procurement, and sustainability, ensuring excellence for the Department at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center.
- Development and growth of the department of radiation oncology, including expansion of currently available services, growth of IMRT, IGRT, brachytherapy, and other technologies in radiation oncology.
- Quality improvement and quality control initiatives, chart rounds, physics and dosimetry QA programs, and other quality and safety initiatives within the department.
Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $350,000 per year
