Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team at Charles River Community Health. As a key member of our Customer Service Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, empathetic, and helpful interactions with patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule patients for medical, vision, and dental appointments, ensuring timely access to care and accurate communication of appointment details.
  • Payment Processing: Collect payments from patients prior to services, ensuring accurate and responsible handling of co-payments, deductibles, and other payment transactions.
  • Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with medical, dental, behavioral health, and vision providers, nurses, and medical assistants to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring proficiency in registration and scheduling systems, medical insurance, and other relevant areas.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of healthcare experience, with a focus on customer service and clinical settings.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred.
