Job Summary:

As a Residential Program Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of our group homes, ensuring that individuals with disabilities receive the support and care they need to live fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individuals with disabilities to increase their independence and quality of life
  • Collaborating with care teams to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Promoting hobbies and recreational activities to enhance overall well-being
  • Assisting with meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking
  • Scheduling and attending medical appointments and providing medication administration
  • Supporting and developing independent living skills
  • Providing education and opportunities for problem-solving related to safety skills, apartment maintenance, finances, and social interactions
  • Supervising a team of Direct Support Professionals
  • Providing training to personnel on person-centered support needs
  • Managing and maintaining staffing schedules to ensure individuals' support needs are met

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Meet the qualifications as a Designated Coordinator (see below)
Designated Coordinator Qualifications:
  1. A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older
  2. An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older
  3. A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older
  4. A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services, education, or health and four years full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older
