Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and order status.
- Account Management: Set up and maintain customer records by accurately updating account information.
- Product Knowledge: Identify product or service issues based on customer description and provide resolution options to the customer.
- Sales and Upselling: Recognize opportunities to up-sell products and explain new features.
- Technical Support: Answer procedural or product questions for in-house employees and refer to upper management when the answers are unknown.
- Feedback and Follow-up: Provide timely feedback to manager regarding service failures or customer concerns.
- Order Processing: Process in-person, over-the-phone, and online orders.
- Record Keeping: Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints from customers.
- Vendor Communication: Follow up with vendors to clarify discrepancies or issues with customer orders.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as responding to emails, generating return labels, and updating vendor contacts.
- Industry Trends: Monitor current industry trends and suggest new products or techniques to the Product Development Team.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience: Auto parts knowledge/experience required. Minimum of one year of call center experience preferred. ZenDesk experience preferred.
- Skills: Automotive parts knowledge, communication and conflict management skills, problem solving, email correspondence, and proficiency using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as well as Excel and Outlook.
- Salary: $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Bonus Program: Bonus program available after 90 day training period.
