Job Overview:
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is in search of a qualified professional to take on the role of Director of Risk Management.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and oversight of the District's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as managing Occupational and Environmental Health and Risk Management Programs. This role also encompasses the administration of the District's Workers' Compensation initiatives.
The Director will coordinate, recommend, and implement risk management strategies, loss prevention measures, and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Since its establishment in 1961, the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District has played a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life in East County by providing accessible and high-quality education.
Spanning 1,138 square miles, the district comprises two colleges, Grossmont and Cuyamaca, dedicated to delivering equitable learning opportunities to the eastern San Diego County community and beyond.

Position Summary:

Work Schedule:
Full-Time - Monday to Friday
Salary Range:
$10,284 - $14,074 Monthly
Initial Salary Placement:
New hires typically begin at Step A ($10,284) or Step B ($10,696) on the salary scale, with potential for advanced placement based on qualifications.
Qualifications:
Required:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business or a related field, along with three to five years of progressively responsible experience in environmental and occupational health management and welfare benefits administration.

Veteran's Points:
