About the Role

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and prepare repackaging material and equipment for production runs.
  • Set up and change over packaging equipment, following work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Operate packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Repackage raw material into finished products that meet quality standards.
  • Work alongside maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Perform production room and equipment cleans and sanitation.
  • Record and prepare accurate and complete information, using basic mathematical skills.
  • Adhere to 5S principles and guidelines to promote efficient operations.
  • Participate in technical training and compliance training as required.
  • Assist in training new operators and contribute to the development of the operations team.
  • Adhere to all cGMPs, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet and exceed quality and production goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to promote improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work in partnership with supporting areas to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Requirements
  • Associates degree, completion of a vocational program, or certification in manufacturing operations or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum two years of manufacturing experience, with one year in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a regulated industry preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language for reading documents, product labels, and instructions.
  • Basic mathematical skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to use good judgment.
  • Basic problem-solving capabilities and experience in 5S principles and practices.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
