Work Schedule

8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M

Job Summary

This role oversees program implementation based on citywide scope of work and best practices related to HVIP programming. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting HVIP staff in acquiring necessary clearance, ID badges, training, and operational considerations
  • Overseeing yearly budget submissions to funders as needed
  • Designing and coordinating training programs for violence interrupters and hospital staff
  • Liaising with Central Office H-VIP leadership to coordinate funding, contracting, and compliance
  • Collaborating with hospital departments, community-based organizations, and Central Office H-VIP leadership to improve intervention and violence prevention programming models
  • Acting as a liaison between the hospital and external stakeholders, including community leaders and advocacy groups
  • Coordinating and implementing prevention programming
  • Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness using data-driven metrics

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000-$85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Science, Social Work, Public Health, or a related discipline. Three years of full-time, progressively responsible experience in community relations, community organization, public health, and/or social services in a public or private social or health agency are required.
