Position Overview:

As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential support services to individuals in both home and community environments. Your contributions will enhance the quality of life for those we serve through various programs, including elder care, mental health support, and assistance for individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in meaningful conversations with clients, offering companionship and necessary resources for daily living.
  • Establish and nurture a supportive relationship with clients through effective communication.
  • Assist clients in achieving their recovery plan goals by providing guidance and support.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and agency representatives through daily progress documentation.
  • Utilize personal or public transportation to accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as outlined in their recovery plans.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • Experience in healthcare or direct care roles, or a strong background in customer service.
