Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist with The Vascular Care Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic imaging services for our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiologic imaging principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with preparing patients for surgical procedures by positioning and prepping, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of exams.
• Effectively operate C-Arm equipment to perform x-rays, adhering to radiation safety controls and protocols.
• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper file identification on all images.
• Review examination images, finalizing images in PACS, and perform quality control procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Assist in prioritizing assigned work based on workflow fluctuations, providing detailed and accurate procedure information for collection in databases as needed.
• Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility, and regulatory requirements, as well as ARRT Standards of Ethics.
• Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations, completing other tasks as per management request.

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) state of CT license required.
• 1-4 years of experience in general radiologic technologist preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
• Willingness to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
• Ability to adequately use the department's computerized system and its associated devices.
