Job Description

GSK is seeking a highly skilled Research Data Steward Lead to manage the lifecycle of research data, ensuring data quality, accuracy, retention, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Scientific Knowledge Engineers, Data Architects, and IT teams, to establish and maintain data standards and governance practices.

Main Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of research data, from acquisition to disposal, adhering to ALCOA+++ principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate, Complete, Consistent, Enduring, and Available).
- Implement FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles to maximize data reusability and sharing across systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive standardized definitions for scientific and operational metadata, aligning with industry standards.
- Collaborate with data owners, compliance teams, and business partners to enforce robust data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Science or Data-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience in implementing data governance, data standards, and policies, e.g., Data Integrity ALCOA and FAIR data standards.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, to apply techniques like pre-processing, classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and model selection.

Estimated Salary Range:$160,000 - $220,000 per annum.
