Recruitment Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a crucial role in the recruitment process for direct care positions within our organization. This position is tasked with creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for prospective candidates, conducting interviews in accordance with established standards, and ensuring timely communication regarding available shifts that align with candidates' preferences. Collaboration with the Recruiting, Onboarding, and Human Resources departments is essential to keep all parties informed about candidate progress, while also maintaining accurate records in our applicant tracking system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews for direct care roles, adhering to organizational standards while fostering a supportive environment for candidates.
- Act as the primary contact for candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Provide timely follow-ups to candidates, assisting with interview scheduling, addressing inquiries, and connecting them with suitable work shifts.
- Effectively communicate with the Recruitment and Onboarding team as well as the Human Resources department to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
- Utilize recruitment systems, including the applicant tracking system, to accurately track and update candidate information.
- Participate in recruitment and outreach initiatives at various hiring events, career fairs, and community gatherings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or a related field is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail is required.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel), is necessary.
- Experience with Human Resources systems, such as applicant tracking systems, is preferred.
