Job Title: Radar Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Radar Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Matrix Research, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Summary

This position requires expertise in radar signal processing, strong computer programming skills, and a proven track record of developing and analyzing advanced radar capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and model advanced radar capabilities using industry best practices
  • Analyze and simulate radar systems to demonstrate capabilities on fieldable systems
  • Contribute to a team working to expand the state of the art in modern radar technologies
Requirements
  • Expertise in algorithm development and analysis, common radar modes, and data processing techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab and C++
  • Experience with modeling and simulation of radar or other radio frequency systems
  • Strong statistical and probability analysis skills
  • Highly developed writing and verbal skills for generating technical reports and presentations
  • Familiarity with software development environments, including compilers, source control, coding standards, and code reviews
  • Minimum of five years' experience
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with RF electronic protection and electronic attack techniques
  • Ten years or more experience
  • Familiarity with Linux or other Unix-based operating systems
  • Active security clearance
