Vitalief is a leading healthcare consulting company dedicated to empowering research and transforming clinical trials. We are seeking a skilled and certified part-time Phlebotomist to support a study aimed at improving the health of various populations in New Jersey and across the country.

About the Role

As a Phlebotomist at Vitalief, you will have the opportunity to collect knowledge on how external social and personal stressors may affect the health and wellbeing of participants. You will work closely with our clients to advance scientific discoveries that have the potential to change patients' lives for the better.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients by greeting them and answering their inquiries
  • Verify patient information and confirm the purpose of their visit
  • Collect bloodwork, urine, and stool samples, and prepare laboratory specimens
  • Perform laboratory tests and dispose of contaminated supplies
  • Take vital signs and electrocardiograms
  • Complete records by documenting specimen collection, investigational product administration, and other visit procedures
  • Act as a liaison between investigators, study staff, and sponsor organizations
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of prior phlebotomy experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with specimen collection, preparation, and processing
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) with national recognized program
  • IRB CITI Training with re-certification every 3 years
  • Computer literacy with competence in Microsoft Office components
  • Demonstrated ability to speak clearly and write proficiently
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
