About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Equiliem, a leading healthcare services company. As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a critical role in our laboratory testing process, working closely with patients and healthcare professionals to collect and process blood samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Equiliem's values and mission to patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Collect high-quality blood samples from patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
  • Work collaboratively with our laboratory team to ensure seamless specimen collection and processing, meeting or exceeding quality and productivity standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our laboratory testing processes and services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, specimen collection, and laboratory results, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing your skills and expertise as a Phlebotomist II.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, with a strong background in laboratory testing and specimen collection.
  • Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
