KFI Engineers, P.C. is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our team in the Utilities & Central Energy (UCE) group. As an Electrical Engineer I, you will play a key role in the successful execution of projects, providing technical and engineering excellence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical power systems, including generation and distribution.
  • Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet codes, standards, and contracted scope of work.
  • Perform power system studies, including arc fault hazard analysis, short circuit, load flow, protective device coordination, and harmonics studies.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals, conduct construction observation, and provide field support during startup and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level Electrical Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including generation and distribution.
