Job Summary:

Kingsmill Resort is seeking a skilled Nail Technician to provide exceptional nail services to our guests. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality manicures and pedicures, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nail services, including manicures and pedicures, to guests.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitized environment for guests, including disinfecting equipment and sweeping floors.
  • Portion products for service and monitor product levels, placing orders with management as needed.
  • Offer guests products used during service for sale, increasing revenue through retail sales.
  • Stay current with industry trends and participate in company-sponsored classes to enhance skills.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding product purchases and retail sales.
  • Notify management of unsafe or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
  • Follow product and spa protocols to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Make guests comfortable, offering beverages and ensuring a positive spa experience.

Qualifications:

  • Possess ability to deliver exemplary customer service and develop relationships with guests.
  • Possess the ability to be professional in appearance.
  • Ability to be dependable, punctual, and organized.
  • Possess physical stamina to perform all aspects of this position, including standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40 lbs. for 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to communicate with guests and members to determine their needs.
  • Ability to work well with little supervision.
  • Possess Virginia Board for Barbers and Cosmetology Nail Technician issued License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year experience working in a nail salon, preferably in a resort or busy nail salon.
  • Retail sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
