Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Porter to join our team at Lithia Motors. As a Service Porter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the appearance of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Move and work with vehicles to maintain display and support sales activities, ensuring our inventory is always looking its best.
  • Deliver vehicles and assist the shuttle driver as required, providing a safe and reliable transportation service for our customers.
  • Thoroughly clean and maintain all vehicles, adhering to our high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Monitor tire pressure of vehicles, adding air and fuel as needed, to ensure our vehicles are always in top condition.
  • Recognize general vehicle repairs and/or building maintenance and notify management, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain the internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom, and lot, creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
  • Run miscellaneous errands for the store, providing support to our team and ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service, with a professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work well with customers and colleagues.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence, necessary for select roles.

Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
