Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our stand-alone automotive service and towing station. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, automotive repairs, and towing services, with a proven track record of managing employees and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and train service and towing employees to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure all phone calls and customers are greeted promptly and provided with accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with or perform administrative tasks, such as managing invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with supervisory responsibility.
  • Experience with towing services preferred.
  • Bookkeeping and payroll experience.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot financial statements.
  • Ability to create forecasts and marketing plans.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a professional manner.
