Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and provide care in accordance with established nursing standards and procedures.
  • Participate in care planning, intervention, and evaluation to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Identify and report any changes in patients' conditions to your Registered Nurse supervisor in line with Texas Nursing Practice Act regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Nursing field of study
  • Less than a year of experience in a similar role
  • Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License
  • Basic Life Support certification (can be acquired within the first 30 days of employment)
