Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

Caregiver, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The LVN will be responsible for providing routine and emergency assessments, administering medications, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all health services provided. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized service plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine and emergency assessments and nursing care to ensure maintenance of optimal health status of each individual.
  • Administer medications and monitor individuals' health conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all health services provided.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of each individual's service plan.
  • Assist individuals in securing emergency medical services and obtaining appropriate medical services.
  • Perform health care procedures ordered/prescribed by a physician/medical practitioner and required by standards of professional practice or law to be performed by licensed nursing personnel.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of valid LVN license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • One year nursing experience.
  • Valid Drivers License.
