Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at Barghausen Consulting Engineers. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for preparing land surveys, reports, and other project documents, as well as coordinating with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist primary project managers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets.
  • Survey Preparation: Prepare land surveys, reports, and other project documents.
  • Client Coordination: Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants.
  • Research and Compliance: Research regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Site Development Surveys: Prepare site development surveys of small to large scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects, multi-use complexes, master-planned communities, and business parks.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Currently licensed in the State of Washington, Idaho, and California.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the ability to fully draft final drawings, including boundary calculations, adjustments, line work, surfaces, and notes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and title companies.
  • Organizational Skills: Organized and deadline-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
