Sandis is seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our team in a Civil Engineering capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert surveying services to support our Land Development projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare construction staking calculations by reading plans and interpreting CAD files.
- Create mapping deliverables including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions.
- Post-process field data collected via the total station, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and unmanned aerial systems.
- Draft aerial surveys from our UAV (Drone).
- Solve complex problems using innovative technology.
- Work in the field as a surveyor.
- 4+ years of office surveying experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4d, and Leica-based scanning software.
- Experience with survey equipment, such as GPS, Robotic, and Total Station.
- Pursuing FAA Pilot License.
- LSIT certification is preferred.
