h3Job Description/h3pJob Title: Logistics Coordinator/ppReports To: Operations Manager/ppJob purpose:/ppThe Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in the treatment process of the FAI Tolerance Induction Program by ensuring patient parcels are accurately filled and promptly shipped. The Coordinator uses a wide variety of software systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ship patient parcels. The Coordinator must support ancillary shipping responsibilities, such as ordering supplies and communicating directly with shipping carriers, in addition to receiving parcels and logging their receipt according to SOPs./ppbDuties and Responsibilities:/b/pulliReceiving, Compounding, and Order Preparation/liliUnpack and stock incoming shipments from a variety of different carriers and vendors./liliRecord receipt of shipments according to existing SOPs./liliCompound and heat-seal SLIT orders according to established SOPs./li/ulpbOrder Fulfillment/b/pulliUse available systems (primarily Salesforce) to monitor incoming patient orders./liliCommunicate directly with patient families, clinical providers, and other clinical staff to ensure accurate shipments, correct destination addresses, and timely shipping schedules./liliPick dosing orders from inventory without any additional supervision or guidance./liliSeal, pack, and secure orders using the ideal combination of insulation, ice packs, envelopes, boxes, bags, and/or protective wrapping./liliAdhere to all required QC processes and procedures while ensuring orders are completed by the established daily cutoff times./liliTrack shipments in all required logs and systems./liliMonitor supply inventory while making the Operations Manager aware of any shortages and required orders./liliRegularly report progress to Operations Manager./li/ulpbMiscellaneous/b/pulliOccasionally, the Coordinator may be asked to support general (i.e., non-shipping) SLIT and/or Food Lab duties and responsibilities. Assignment of these tasks will be dependent on current business demand. The Coordinator will be given the appropriate training and support prior to task assignment./li/ulpbQualifications:/b/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent./liliPrior picking, packing, and/or shipping experience is highly preferred./liliProficiency in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is preferred./liliSalesforce experience is highly preferred./liliAble to communicate with all levels of management and other departments effectively and concisely./liliAbility to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds./li/ulpbPhysical Requirements:/b/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job./ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
