The VMI Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing inventory levels at client sites. This position collaborates closely with clients and internal sales teams to ensure that stock is replenished and maintained at optimal levels. The role requires the use of a hand-held scanner to generate orders and facilitate deliveries using a company vehicle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and sustain inventory levels at customer locations
  • Advise on inventory adjustments based on consumption patterns
  • Identify potential for expanding product offerings
  • Support clients with inventory oversight and product shipments
  • Engage in communication with management and sales teams
  • Conduct regular visits to customer sites
  • Address customer inquiries and provide product suggestions
  • Ensure precise shipments and resolve any discrepancies
  • Participate in sales initiatives and training sessions
  • Coordinate with internal teams for customer-related information
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain company vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical or technical expertise required
  • Familiarity with Fluid Connector products
  • Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Customer service-focused
  • Strong communication and time management abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of Parker-Hannifin products is advantageous
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
