Job Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering automation and financial management support to our federal clients.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute automation activities, reviewing the work of technical and functional colleagues, including subcontractors, and completing activities consistent with delivery schedules and performance parameters.
  • Understand financial management concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on automation assignments.
  • Participate in teams implementing solutions for systems that support financial management services to perform complex operations.
  • Oversee technical delivery services, including developing new capabilities, providing operational support for systems and automated processes, and modernizing processes that reside on legacy technology.
  • Implement changes to systems and practices across the team, planning, executing, and completing automation activities in accordance with Agile best practices.
Requirements
  • Five to seven years of overall experience with technology implementations.
  • Three years of experience on automation programs, including participating in Agile teams.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Agile and Kanban development, supported by recent work experience.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems through teamwork and consultation.
  • Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Adept at change management.
  • Well-versed in successful delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in federal financial management.
  • Skilled in using systems that support federal financial management services.
  • Familiarity with technical tools, including Jira, GitHub, UIPath, ServiceNow, Salesforce, DataBricks, and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools, including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines: Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

Clearance

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Compensation

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
