Job Overview
As part of our commitment to enhancing customer service and optimizing automation efficiency, we are implementing a program focused on self-service and citizen-led automation. This initiative involves the establishment of Regional Alteryx Champions (RAC) within our accounting team. These champions are selected members tasked with developing Alteryx automations tailored to their respective teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and resolve issues within Alteryx workflows created by RACs.
· Conduct training sessions on Alteryx and provide ongoing support during office hours.
· Manage the installation of Alteryx Server on EC2 instances across various environments.
· Design and create Redshift clusters, ensuring proper schema setup for Alteryx integration.
· Facilitate the onboarding and integration of Redshift clusters with Datanet jobs.
· Promote and schedule Alteryx workflows on the server as per project requirements.
· Administer user permissions on the Alteryx server.
· Integrate AWS Secrets Manager with Alteryx for enhanced security.
· Extract data from diverse sources, including databases, Datanet, SharePoint, and S3, into Alteryx.
· Execute comprehensive disaster recovery procedures to restore Alteryx services in case of failures.
· Maintain optimal performance of the Alteryx server by monitoring logs and resource utilization.
· Collaborate with Alteryx and AWS Infra teams to upgrade the Alteryx server version.
· Schedule and oversee the performance of Alteryx workflows on the server.
· Work with infrastructure teams to enhance server capacity by adding nodes and cores.
· Develop data analytical automation solutions utilizing Alteryx services across various environments.
· Demonstrate proficiency in creating Alteryx workflows and integrating them with Alteryx Server.
· Transform raw data from multiple sources into actionable insights for business decision-making.
· Migrate Alteryx workflows across development, testing, and production servers using established methodologies.
· Collaborate with Alteryx and AWS Infra teams to install connectors for efficient data retrieval from accounting systems.
