Join Atrium Health's Respiratory Therapy Team

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Atrium Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pulmonary care program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures, such as pulmonary function tests and bronchoscopies.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
  • Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of North Carolina.
  • 2 years critical care experience for free-standing Emergency Department and Virtual Critical Care.
  • BLS certification required.
