Core Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Assisting in procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating cardiovascular issues.
  • Preparing patients for examinations by reviewing medical histories and ensuring comfort.
  • Interpreting and reporting test results accurately, while identifying any discrepancies.
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Maintaining and preparing necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Contributing to a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Current BLS certification required within one month of hire.
  • Preferred credentials include:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
    • Cardiographic Technician certification from CCI.
    • Radiologic Technologist certification with a focus on Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure in Wisconsin required within 18 months of hire.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma with two years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or four years of applicable experience.
