Job Title: Financial Intelligence Unit Senior Investigator, Assistant Vice PresidentAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Intelligence Unit Senior Investigator to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Financial Intelligence Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting our compliance efforts and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex investigations into suspicious transactions and AML-related activities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate money laundering and market abuse risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential compliance issues
  • Provide expert guidance and training to junior staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in AML compliance, cash, and/or securities
  • Strong understanding of investment products, including bonds, mutual funds, stocks, options, hedge funds, and income trusts
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to summarize complex information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and staff
  • ACAMS certification preferred
