About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Client Service team in Latin America and the Caribbean. As the Global Services Vice President, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our institutional clients in the region, while also developing and implementing a strategic vision for State Street's presence in the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Client Service officers/AVPs, providing guidance and direction to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and motivate staff to create an environment for service excellence, completing performance appraisals as required.
  • Provide overall project management direction for client and systems initiatives, ensuring superior client satisfaction.
  • Manage service delivery to meet or exceed SLA and KPI levels, identifying and addressing potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
  • Assist with client due diligence, compliance/fiduciary reviews, and audits, as well as new business development efforts.
  • Oversee annual risk assessments for customer accounts, alerting senior management to any changes that may increase State Street risk.
  • Create and implement a strategic client service framework that provides consistent client experience and leverages best practices.
  • Work closely with internal management teams to ensure an effective operating environment, keeping senior management informed of new developments, service issues, and new business/cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
  • Superior leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for client service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client presentations.
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese, with a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Strong computer competence, with experience in Microsoft applications.
