Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all operations and continuous development, implementing policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations.
  • Train and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Understand and develop profit and loss annually.
  • Plan, direct, implement, monitor, and evaluate operational budgets to ensure consistency with forecasts.
  • Maintain functional personnel levels to meet operational demands.
  • Strategic planning and budgeting for top-line sales budgets, capital expenses, and customer/branch expansion projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to support branch complaints.
  • Ensure proper scheduling, production, and assembly to meet on-time delivery goals, with shipments monitored monthly and quarterly, providing projections to corporate management.
  • Ensure accuracy of all product and orders going out the door with accurate QC and order documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in branches with support from inventory management and cycle count reporting.
  • Control inventory and cycle counts and resolve all issues to maintain inventory at a minimum of 4.5 turns per year.
  • Understand and educate all branch operational processes and related paperwork.
  • Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers, with major changes met with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
  • Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Lead and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have vertical pump VTP experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and improve a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive background with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate business structure.
  • Thorough understanding of practices and policies involved in business and finance.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in project management, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to timelines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess organizational needs and design effective solutions.
