Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee all activities related to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing. The successful candidate will be responsible for dividing concrete construction projects into different stages, evaluating labor and material requirements, and resolving problems that may affect project quality and completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all activities related to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing, and curing.
  • Divide concrete construction projects into different stages and evaluate labor and material requirements.
  • Resolve problems that may affect project quality and completion.
  • Consult blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure accurate placement and installation of concrete structures.
  • Delegate tasks to concrete laborers and provide overall guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked and materials used for each project.
  • Ensure formwork and shoring are erected, supported, and dismantled based on engineering designs and drawings.
  • Inspect concrete after formwork and shoring removal and instruct laborers on correcting defects and concrete roughness.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Concrete Foreman, you should be able to correctly interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings. An exceptional Concrete Foreman should demonstrate excellent management and problem-solving skills, as well as enforce compliance with safety regulations.
