We are seeking a highly skilled Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Analyst to join our team at the City of Reno. As a key member of our Maintenance and Operations Division, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our infrastructure asset data management systems, ensuring seamless integration with other city systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement software solutions and databases to support asset data management and maintenance operations
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and deliver a vision for the CMMS, addressing maintenance and operations, engineering, technology, financial, business, and regulatory needs
- Ensure accurate and interrelated database records, designing and implementing mechanisms for inter-database communications
- Provide technical support and coaching to employees on maintenance management software, resolving complex technical issues related to maintenance management databases and other department databases
- Develop and present oral and written presentations pertaining to asset data and maintenance management applications, providing system training for users
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- Two years of full-time experience in data management, technical support, or asset management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license
The successful candidate will work in a field and office environment, with occasional exposure to hazardous traffic conditions and varying weather conditions. The position requires the ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods, as well as lift, carry, push, and/or operate assigned equipment and vehicles.
