Senior Security Architect Job Description

As a Senior Security Architect at Best Buy, you will collaborate closely with our Digital, Analytics & Technology teams to deliver security requirements in the design phase. You will also bridge the gap between IT / Engineering and the greater Enterprise Risk & Compliance practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain key relationships with engineering domains
  • Understand business and technical objectives
  • Maintain detailed solution-level understanding for ongoing activities / initiatives
  • Work with the security architecture team to draft new security control documentation and maintain associated document repositories

As a Senior Security Architect, you will work in close partnership with a diverse portfolio of Engineering / IT teams to drive security requirements and solutions. If you have subject matter expertise in one or more security capability focus areas (Network, Cloud, Application Security, IAM, etc.), this role is an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills and experience.

Requirements:
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more security capability focus areas
  • Strong understanding of security architecture and risk management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
