Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Gateway Maryland. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students in our school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and other treatment plans for students, as guided by our Behavior Specialists/BCBAs.
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in a classroom setting, promoting positive behavior and social skills in students.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and effectiveness of treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with Program Specialists and BCBA to ensure seamless implementation of treatment plans.
  • Participate in weekly classroom meetings, training workshops, and other professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or High School Diploma (required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide a good verbal speech and language model, with effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite.
