We are seeking a skilled and experienced dentist to join our team at the Interior Community Health Center. As a part-time dental care provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to dental patients, including routine check-ups, cleanings, and procedures.
- Supervise dental assistants and coordinate services with clinic and community providers to ensure delivery of comprehensive dental care services.
- Participate in center's continuous quality improvement systems and activities, and assist with the development of written collaborative agreements for Center's and patient services.
- Remain current with standards of practice and participate in community meetings.
- Dentist licensed in the State of Alaska and DEA registration.
- Four years post-graduate practice experience required, with experience in dealing with medically underserved populations.
- Experience with Electronic Dental Records required; experience with Dentrix preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Electronic Dental Records.
- Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
This position is based in Fairbanks, Alaska, and may require travel within the Fairbanks North Star Borough and Denali Borough. A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
