About the Role:

Highbrook Way Dental Care is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments, utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Manage treatment rooms, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office workflow.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required by state dental practice act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds at times.
