Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Benefits and Compliance Specialist with 5 or more years of related work experience for a Temp to Perm role, located in Manhattan, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily compliance activities for health and disability businesses adhere to regulations and internal policies.
  • Examine vendor and client documents for regulatory compliance.
  • Prioritize the request for proposal (RFP) process and vendor selection.
  • Conduct risk-based audits and assessments of business units and third-party vendors.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to Benefits business units, including Benefits Policy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Legal unit to ensure compliance.
  • Research applicable plan rules and propose resolutions to the SVP, Business Compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous Legal experience is advantageous.
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role handling Benefits/Compliance.
Compensation

$45.00 to $60.00 per hour.
