Human Trafficking Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anti-Human Trafficking Lead Survivor Support Specialist to join our team at The Salvation Army. This is a full-time exempt position responsible for providing direct services, including case management, to survivors of human trafficking.
Key Responsibilities- Assess survivors' needs and develop individualized service plans to address their complex needs, including emotional and mental health, housing, employment, medical, legal, and other supports.
- Provide comprehensive case management services, including accompanying survivors to appointments, collaborating with survivors to develop service plans, and maintaining regular contact with survivors.
- Assist survivors with accessing resources, including shelter, emotional and mental health services, medical services, employment services, legal services, and others as determined by the individualized service plan.
- Track program statistics and outcomes, enter data, and draft and submit reports as requested.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new staff and volunteers.
- Attend all anti-trafficking councils, committees, and community meetings as requested.
- Participate in outreach efforts to increase human trafficking awareness and victim identification.
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related social services field.
- Three years of case management experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain ethical conduct in accordance with organizational policy and carry out business in a manner consistent with the organization's mission, values, and policies.
- Computer proficiency required, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including empathetic listening.
- Excellent organizational and case file/documentation management skills.
