Mission Statement:
The Hub is dedicated to enhancing the life sciences landscape in Rhode Island, promoting collaboration among stakeholders, and driving innovation in areas such as biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biomedical technology. By leveraging strategic investments, the Hub seeks to establish Rhode Island as a leader in the life sciences sector on both national and international stages.

Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Executive Officer will be tasked with:
• Leading the Hub's strategic vision and operational execution to promote a dynamic life sciences ecosystem.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including government entities, industry leaders, and academic institutions, to enhance Rhode Island's competitive position in the life sciences field.
• Developing and managing the organization's budget and resources to align with strategic priorities.
• Advocating for the life sciences sector at regional, national, and international forums, ensuring that the Hub's objectives are well communicated.
• Building a high-performing team and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the organization.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A proven track record in organizational leadership, particularly within the life sciences or related sectors.
• Strong strategic planning and financial management skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach to leadership, capable of fostering partnerships that drive innovation and growth.

Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
