Live Nation Concerts, Ticketing Operations Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Live Nation Concerts is in search of a Ticketing Operations Specialist to enhance the efficiency of our ticketing team. This meticulous role demands exceptional organizational capabilities, adept problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. The perfect candidate will possess strong customer service abilities and the capacity to cultivate robust relationships with senior management, partners, and clients across all organizational levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee ticket sales and prepare sales reports for distribution to relevant tour personnel.
  • Gather and evaluate inventory data from various ticketing systems.
  • Develop an internal order management system for Live Nation touring events.
  • Maintain regular communication with local promoters, Ticketmaster, local ticketing teams, Live Nation Touring, and associated tour parties.
  • Support Ticketing Directors in liaising with local box offices to organize events, manage holds, process orders, and release tickets promptly.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on events across tours to guarantee accurate and consistent event details and setups.
  • Comply with Live Nation's ticketing initiatives, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Ticketing Directors.
  • Occasionally assist with guest list check-ins at local events.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with ticketing software, event programming, and box office operations is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, organize effectively, solve problems, follow up, and communicate efficiently.
  • Must be able to perform under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Adherence to Live Nation's evolving health and safety protocols regarding vaccinations and other measures is expected.
