Job Summary:

As a Federal NOTAM System (FNS) Technical Specialist at EVTKS, you will perform a gap analysis of the FNS first-level documentation and provide recommendations and new documentation for it, including technical instruction books, notices, handbook, and other technical directives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in first-level maintenance documentation requirements analysis and development
  • Track and audit documentation redlines
  • Support system development, testing, integration, and deployment activities
  • Develop and manage system engineering artifacts, system requirements artifacts, system testing artifacts, and required product baseline artifacts

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required and Ten (10) years of related experience, including at least five (5) years of NAS experience
  • Associate's Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of four (4) years of experience

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Technical understanding of the maintenance of NAS systems
  • Experience in developing NAS technical documentation
  • Experience with NAS second-level engineering
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Experience with system testing (desired)

Work Environment:

This position requires work to be performed at the William J Hughes Technical Center and may require travel to airport locations around the USA when scheduling dictates or at management discretion.
