Job Title: Product Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at G-TECH Services. As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing diagnostic solutions for powertrain technologies.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive product development, with experience in OBD diagnostics and test cases. You will be responsible for reviewing existing HPCM OBD/diagnostic software, developing DVMs for OBD systems, and creating OBD-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze existing HPCM OBD/diagnostic software
  • Develop Design Verification Methods (DVMs) for OBD systems
  • Create OBD-related documentation, including Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, and Fault Demonstration Methods/test cases
  • Execute diagnostic routines, report test results, and provide recommendations for system improvement
  • Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and/or dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability
  • Identify and resolve OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 1 year minimum experience in automotive product development
  • BSEE, BSME, or BS-Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with OBD diagnostics and test cases
  • Programming experience using modern software languages with knowledge of embedded software development tools/processes
  • Knowledge and use of Boundary Diagrams, P Diagrams, and FMEAs
  • Excel and Matlab working knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with OBD diagnostics and test cases
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and validating embedded software
  • Programming experience using modern software languages with knowledge of embedded software development tools/processes
  • Knowledge and use of Boundary Diagrams, P Diagrams, and FMEAs
  • Excel and Matlab working knowledge
Additional Information:

This is a hybrid position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from our office and remotely.
