Product Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing processes and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality related tasks.
- Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches and lead cost reduction actions in current production vehicles.
- Support Variability Reduction Team (VRT) for specific subsystems and work closely with Supplier partners for subsystem components to address quality concerns.
- Lead engineering trials and the implementation of running changes for the sub-system -Issue engineering Alerts and initiate and/or pursue authorization of engineering Concerns for product changes to support Quality objectives.
- Engage technical experts and functional team members for driving resolution and in developing corrective actions to improve product Quality.
- Maintain sub-system or Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) level Quality documents (SAQ, Top 20 concerns).
- Make presentations to various levels of upper management (weekly VRT report out, Vehicle Quality Reviews, Engineering Managers reviews).
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- Even better, you may have Six-Sigma Training (Black Belt or Green Belt Certification).
- Ability in work in a fast-paced environment to support quick decision making.
- Familiarity with CAD systems.
- Any automotive experience.

This position is a salary grade 8. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
