Job Summary

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the effective operations of all hotel and sales & events operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and sales & events teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the effective operations of all hotel and sales & events operations
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and sales & events teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel performance and increase revenue
  • Manage budgets and financial reports for the hotel and sales & events operations
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality standards
  • Coordinate and execute sales and events activities, including planning menus, setting up events, and managing logistics
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality standards
  • Monitor and analyze sales and events data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the hotel and sales & events operations
Requirements
  • Previous hotel management, sales & events experience
  • Excellent customer service experience and people skills
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Current OLCC and Food Handler cards
  • Knowledge and comfort with computers
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Essential Functions
  • Provide an exemplary customer service experience to all property and event guests
  • Practice safe lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. with a hand truck or the help of another person if necessary
  • Work on feet for long periods, including standing and walking
  • Repetitive movements, such as bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and stooping
  • Fine hand manipulation and repetitive use of hands, including typing, writing, filing, cash handling, etc.
  • Accurately handle and count money
  • Work on a computer terminal, including fine hand manipulation and working on a keyboard
  • Effectively supervise others
  • Organize and analyze information accurately and quickly
  • Extensive phone use, including answering and managing multiple high-volume phone lines
  • Perform all non-management job duties in relation to the hotel & housekeeping
  • Present a positive and professional image and interact well with customers, vendors, and staff from all departments
