About the Role: As a skilled nursing caregiver, you'll play a vital role in providing direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of our experienced nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include interacting with patients and families, precepting new team members, orienting patients to hospital routines, and attending unit committees to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of nursing staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Precept new team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Orient patients to hospital routines and policies to promote a positive experience.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance patient care.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified as a nursing assistant, and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds. Additionally, you may be required to work alternate shift schedules, including evenings, nights, and weekends. An estimated $45,000 per year salary is offered for this position.
